Ayn Rand University provides the world’s best training in Objectivism taught by some of the world’s leading experts in Ayn Rand’s philosophy. Whether you’re relatively new to Ayn Rand or you’ve read and listened to everything, ARU is designed to take you to the next level to help you learn, live, and advocate Objectivism.

The Ayn Rand University Live program is a multi-year, comprehensive track of study where students complete a core curriculum of required and elective courses. The curriculum is designed to be completed in 2 years but students may complete it in more or less time depending on their availability to take courses. Students are required to attend regular classes, complete graded assignments, and maintain good academic standing. Students are eligible to apply for scholarships to defray the cost of tuition, though anyone interested in learning with us may pay tuition and join the courses.

As an Ayn Rand University student, you’ll go through a rigorous curriculum designed to teach you how to think deeply and critically about philosophic issues, understand Objectivism’s distinctive perspective on philosophy and other crucial areas of human knowledge, and communicate philosophic ideas effectively.

You’ll have the opportunity to take courses and coaching that will help you implement in your own life the ideas you learn at Ayn Rand University.

Ayn Rand described Objectivism as “a philosophy for living on earth.” This idea is at the heart of the Ayn Rand University, an online school of philosophy whose mission is to educate our students about Objectivism and to provide them with the intellectual, career, and life guidance they need to flourish.

Ayn Rand University provides an online educational experience, giving you the flexibility to attend from anywhere in the world. Each quarter, you’ll take one or more courses that feature lectures, graded assignments, classroom discussion, and feedback from our expert faculty. You may also meet regularly with one of our mentors, who will work with you to help you reach your learning and career goals so you can achieve success in thought and action. Though our program is demanding, most students find that they can succeed by devoting about 10 hours a week to their studies. And while we strongly encourage live attendance, all of our classes are recorded so that you can conveniently fit our classes into your schedule.
